Time Capsules For Local School Children:

Pupils of East Preston Junior School were invited to bury a time capsule at Oceanique. Class photographs, details about the children’s lives and the life of the school were included in the time capsules along with stamps, money, modern sweets, images of modern hairstyles and fashions, facts on endangered species, climate changes, films and cartoons, The Queen, hobbies and, of course, the World Cup! After a week of hard work, which involved plenty of communication and sharing of ideas, the children finally visited Oceanique, donning hard hats and high visibility jackets, to watch their capsules being buried within the grounds of the development. The site visit enabled them to gain a valuable insight into the house building process whilst quizzes and puzzles provided by MJH Executive Homes helped raise awareness of the dangers of playing on building sites.
